As a woman, there is always a desire to be beautiful that is pushed by the society, men and other women. KL002 is a virtual reality experience that responds to the measurement of attractiveness utilized in plastic surgery which sets expectations for different body features. Drawing inspiration from Hiroshi Teshigahara's “The Face of Another” and Kirsten Lepore’s “Hey Stranger”, I used my own body as a monument to the pursue of the beauty ideal where participants are invited to go up the spiral staircase to find out my journey of becoming a beautiful woman.
